    Aditi, here is another great interface using faceted navigation for digital libraries:
    lens.library.uchicago.edu

    I think they currently are the digital library catalog doing the best job with it.

    Dear Aditi,

    Thanks for your posts which seem to distill a very large subject area into some clear and informative posts. Very impressive. On the subject of browsing digital collections, I have to mention my own work at the Digital Humanities Observatory. Using SOLR, javascript and XML I have tried to deliver a multitude of browsing experiences. I’d be interested to know what you thought. The whole site (http://discovery.dho.ie) is an attempt to explore this navigation, but there are a number of experimental tools at:
