Aditi Muralidharan

I’m a fifth-year Ph.D student with Professor Marti Hearst in the Department of Computer Science at UC Berkeley.

My interests are in the general field of text mining – extracting information about entities, relationships, and trends from text. This involves natural language processing, machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval.

I’m especially interested in building good user interfaces for search, browsing, and learning, with a focus on the process of iteratively and selectively expanding one’s knowledge of a subject.
